A MUMBALLUP family was devastated when one of last week’s storms tore the roof from their main farmhouse.
Samantha Dixon said the roof “ripped off like a sardine can”.
“It started from the children’s bedroom and as they have a bunk bed my niece had a hell of a fright with the roof being ripped off so close,” she said.
“It’s been a horror week of weather that’s for sure.”
The Donnybrook SES had to cut through five fallen trees to get to the house on Sunday night .
