Association AGM

The annual general meeting of the Glenwood Community Association will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 7pm, in the hall of Caddies Creek Primary School.

Chemical cleanout

Blacktown Council’s next chemical cleanout will be at its works depot in Station Street, Rooty Hill, on Sunday, October 13, 9am-3pm.

It is a free service for the disposal of household chemicals.

A maximum of 20 litres or 20 kilograms of a singular chemical will be accepted on the day.

Power-bills help

Householdscould receive up to $250 to help manage their electricity bills as part of the NSW government’s family energy rebate for the 2013-14 financial year. More than 540,000 families are eligible to received the rebate as a credit on their electricity bill. Details:
