Strong winds are forecast for this evening. A DAMAGING windsweather warning has been issued for the Ballarat region.
The Bureau of Meteorology is warning that strong cold fronts are forecast to bring damaging windsto south-eastern Australia from today, including the Mallee, Wimmera, Northern Country, North Central, North East, South West, Central, West and South Gippsland and East Gippsland forecast districts.
Winds could average 60 to 70 km/h peaking at 90-110km/h, with the strongest winds later today before easing tomorrow.
The State Emergency Service say the winds should be of similar strength to last Thursday.
Another cold front is forecast for Wednesday with strong to gale force winds, but is expected to only hit southern areas of Victoria including Bass Straight.
