THE Boyup Brook Women are heading into the finals of their Ladies Championship with the semi-finals played on September 19.
The results of the Championship matches were Jann Mead defeated Penny Tweedie 5 up with 3 to go and Lyn Willett defeated Desrae Lee Steere 6 up with 4 to go.
Mead and Willett will now play 36 holes match play to determine the Champion for 2013.
In the Plate the match of the day was between Ginny Mitchell and Maureen Piper which saw them equal on the 18th hole and as a winner needs to be declared outright they then went on to play the 19th hole where Mitchell won on the last putt.
Sue Wallace defeated Lyn Jennings 3 up with 4 to go.
Mitchell now plays Sue over 27 holes to decide the plate winner.
The ladies had their Fight Against Cancer day on Thursday with $161 raised for cancer research.
The winner of the day with a great score of 38 points was Helen Wehr, the runner-up on a countback was Helen Robertson from Jenny Aird and fourth was Jan Harris.
