The Hebersham teenage sensation’s rapid ride to stardom will see him in the recording studio just seven months after he first started singing lessons.

Brodie 14, will spend four hours in Oxygen Music’s recording studios this month, which he won as a lucky door prize.

He will record his first song, which he co-wrote with signing teacher, Gemma Luxton from Minchinbury-based Gemstar Academy of Voice and Music.

‘‘It’s a fast love song,’’ Brodie said.

‘‘Singing makes me feel happy and relaxed.’’

It will be good preparation for his Fast Track Singing competition heat on October 26.

Brodie has always enjoying singing, according to mum Melissa Arrow.

‘‘When he was four, he would sing Christmas carols all year long,’’ she said.

‘‘No one else in the family sings so I don’t know where he gets it from. Music is a saviour and gives him an outlet from any problems he has. Without the support from his school and family that would never miss an event Brodie is involved in, I doubt he would be the fun loving. adorable, happy natured, amazing kind teen that he is.’’

His popularity is rising with more 1000 views to his YouTube clips and more 180 likes to his Facebook page in a matter of weeks.

Ms Arrow has seen Brodie’s confidence grow with the increasing opportunities coming to him.

‘‘It’s giving him more performance practice, which he’s taking seriously,’’ she said.

‘‘I come home from work and he’s on the laptop, teaching himself how to play guitar. He only needs to listen to a song once before he has it down pat. I’m so proud of him, watching the amount of effort he puts into every song.’’

Brodie’s favourites artists are Guy Sebastian and Bruno Mars.

‘‘All their song tell stories about their lives,’’ he said.
