The Photos of Central Victoria people’s choice winner is ‘Lancefield, High Camp’, by Kylie McKay.
The Romsey resident received the most reader votes in the online competition for her image, snapped at High Camp Road, Pyalong, on August 12.
The Photos of Central Victoria editor’s choice winner is ‘The Colour and the Shape’, by Adam Brentnall.
The Malmsbury resident won the honour in very close contest for his photo taken from the Old Drummond Road in Taradale, on July 31. The image is commended for its depth and colour.
Stunning winter photos taken in Macedon Ranges, Mt Alexander and beyond were entered – 77 in total.
The Midland Express would like to congratulate and thank all the entrants for participating and capturing the beauty of the region. It truly was a difficult task selecting a winner.

Adam will receive a $50 voucher from Aesop’s Attic Bookshop in Kyneton and have his winning image feature on the front cover of The Midland Tourist News winter edition 2014!
This is the first competition of the Midland Express seasonal photo comp.
The competition continues this spring.
The Express will be asking you to enter photos you take of the region in September, October, or November 2013. Details on how to enter will be published next week.
